Well, the name shows a degree of self awareness, at least! This is a cute little vintage furniture store on Pitt Street, next door to Quirks. If you can manage to squeeze into the shop, there is some great mid-20th century stuff - chairs, coffee tables, vases, rugs, etc., but it's all a bit higgledy piggledy, and the quality varies. Right now they have the strangest thing - a red Eames chair with a wonky back; it just looks so wrong. Cram doesn't have a sign, and isn't listed in much, but it's real! I bought a table there recently. The sales lady seemed more interested in reading her novel than selling me a table, but once I made it clear that I was going to buy it, she told me, "there's an ATM at the pub," and I did as I was told. Cram is cash only, but one advantage is their stuff is relatively marked down, compared to nearby antique stores (e.g. on Redfern St and Regent St).
