For a downtown art scene, this is a very good option. There was both indoor and outdoor spaces to hang, and a lot of DJ's that kept changing shifts during the evening. Marques Wyatt, the resident DJ at Deep did his thing here too. We talked to him, he's a cool guy. Spinning mostly house music, definitely worth checking out if you're into this type of scene. Celebrities sometimes attend this event. Mystery, author of "The Mystery Method" and star of the VH1 show, "The Pick Up Artist" showed up. A chica in a white slinky dress was hot on his heels. He keep blowing her off, it was funny to watch. He is really tall, about 6'6. The art work is in the warehouse like spaces. Mostly a mix and mingle, with some interactive art pieces, and some cool digital images, see pics. When we first got here, we scored street parking. Lucked out as there was a long line out front, the wait took a while until they decided to let all the people that didn't want to drink in first as there wasn't a need to check ids. $5 for the art preview, $15 for the after party. Note that the venue has recently changed to Lot 613 at the Premiere Events Center on Imperial Street in downtown Los Angeles.
