This is a cute little diner. There is adequate parking and the lot wraps all the way around the building. They have specials written on the board and each day they change. They serve both breakfast and other food all day.
I ended up ordering the Philly cheesesteak and subbed fried potatoes and onions for the French fries. The sandwich was good. I think if they would've buttered and toasted the bun it would've elevated it to great. The meat was chopped fine and it had onions, green peppers, mushrooms and a couple mild banana peppers slices along with some really delicious creamy cheese. The potatoes and onions were ok too. Not great but good. The smaller crispier pieces of potato were my favorite and if there would've been more of those I would've probably eaten every last one of them! I rarely ever get dessert but I was intrigued by the pies so I ordered a piece of the coconut pie. It was sooo good! Very different from what I'm used to but I'd definitely eat it again! The pie crust was very flaky and had kind of a creamy texture to it also. The filling was really thick and had a ton of coconut mixed in with it. It was topped with creamy whipped topping and toasted coconut pieces. I ended up eating the entire piece and not taking it to go!
The service was exceptional. There were a couple waitresses and they basically tag teamed them ordering and food delivery. There was another lady who I kind of took was the owner and she was going around filling drinks and then checking people out as they left also.
Overall this was a really good experience and a really cute little small town diner with pretty good food. read more
