I purchased a new Cadillac Escalade on 03/08/25 Immediately after purchase it became apparent that the Onstar system wasn't functional I received a call to go back to get the PDI inspection done as car wasn't supposed to be sold to me without PDI inspection.
I returned to the dealership on 04/03/25 with the vehicle having around 1000 miles. While the vehicle was on their lot (perhaps improperly parked) their GM parts delivery truck damaged the vehicle resulting in damage to front passenger door, front passenger bumper, car mirror, car rim, front fender and perhaps frame damage!
. An estimate was received from an expert that approximates the damage to be around $18,000 if no structural damage is uncovered. The diminished value of the vehicle due to the accident has not yet been determined. I request the dealership buy back the vehicle for the full amount paid and provide a replacement of equal value. The dealership handled the situation poorly without any regard to customer satisfaction. The owner was extremely rude to me and his offer was a $1000 gift card for ruining a $110000 truck
Now I have no choice but to keep complaining to corporate (so hopefully they lose their pinnacle program) and to take legal action through an attorney
BEWARE: These guys don't inspect their vehicles before selling them and you might be getting a lemon or unsafe vehicle!!! read more
