First, a large thank you to the residents who live around this pool because every bit of street parking was gone by 7:30am. And the streets are narrow.
It took me 40 minutes to find a spot a quarter mile away and I was congratulated how lucky I was. At least all the parents seemed careful not to encroach on any driveways but still, the traffic!
At the complex, there's only a small lot that accommodates about 20 cars, not even enough space for the judges and coaches.
The pool is well maintained but the deck around it, small. Locker and restrooms are woefully lacking and old. I was grateful I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for one of three stalls in the ladies' restroom.
Not my favorite competition spot. read more
