The first time I went to El Morazan, I thought I was going crazy. I couldn't see it. But it's there, hidden in the corner.
On the inside it is very sparse. High ceilings, bright lights, a few tables, and a TV that has played South- or Central American soccer the times I've been there. But there is also plenty of love and pride for El Salvador.
I have only had the pupusas so far. They are the reason I went. Trying to find ways of satisfying my pupusa cravings in Bellingham. And they are good. First time I had the "standard" beans and cheese. This time I tried something new (and I think unique). A loroco/spinach and a squash (calabaza). Two pupusas filled me up just right. read more
