Usually I like small, independent shoe shops. Even though they don't have a lot of variety most of the time and are sometimes a bit more expensive, they tend to have more quirky shoes and less of the major brands. Dahlia had a really nice pair of knee-high, black, high-heeled boots in the window and I decided to go inside to check the price even though I really shouldn't buy shoes before christmas. However, I never made it to the shelf with the boots. As soon as I walked in one of the shop assistants came up to me and asked me if I needed help to which I replied that I was just having a look around. She gave me a really filthy look and I just turned around and walked back out. Won't be giving them my money with that attitude. read more
