Such a peaceful and large park to visit! I love to come here and analyze the diverse plants growing everywhere. As the sun begins to get lower in the horizon, there is such a lovely, cool breeze that comes in off the pond. There are many random trails you can follow here, just be careful not to suddenly walk into standing water, as I have done haha. I come here to take pictures, pray, and just be in a moment of gratitude. There is so much life here. Trees, birds of all kinds, squirrels, flowers that change with the seasons, bugs including the wonderful dragonfly which keeps mosquitoes at bay, etc. I'm sure there are other critters I haven't witnessed yet. The park is so open that even with other families or couples here, you can still have lots of space. People come fishing here and they have a playground for little ones too. I definitely greatly appreciate this park. Lots of shade for those hot days too. read more
