I've hopped around to various nail salons ever since I moved here 8 years ago and they have all just been okay. My friend told me about her recent experience at Diamond Nails and insisted I join her for my next pedicure, so tonight I did! To start off, they thanked my friend Sara for bringing me and told her she gets $5.00 off and I also got $5.00 off because it was my first time! They made a great first impression. I looked around the nail salon and the first thing I noticed is how clean it is! I was then seated in an amazingly comfortable chair that had all the bells and whistles and was given a brochure of all of their offerings! I decided to pamper myself and go with the full meal deal with the added jelly (I'll tell you about that in a minute!) Next we were offered water or sodas (and I learned you can bring your own wine!) Because I picked the deluxe package I started with a warm wrap around my neck and then we got to pick scents for our jelly. Now you might wonder what jelly is, as it was a first for me...so you pick your scent and they put some powder in the water and it quickly starts to turn into a warm jelly texture as you swirl your feet. It was fun and felt great!!! After that, in addition to the typical steps of a pedicure, I also had a paraffin dip and hot stone massage on my legs and feet! It was amazing! They also have a great selection of polish and my pedi was finished off with my toes being painted the cutest color! I also want to add that while all of the above services were exceptional, what made the experience even better is the staff! Thai was the gentlemen working with me, along with his brother and a cousin. They are extremely warm and welcoming and even remembered my friend from her prior visit (which was her first time!)
