I've always quite fancied having a go at DJ-ing. I realise it's probably a bit harder than it looks, and on TV whenever you see amateurs having a go they're a bit rubbish, but it looks really fun. These days though, they even have games where you press buttons on a controller that imitates DJ-ing so you don't have to even try out the real thing, which is a bit lazy in my opinion.
For those of you who fancy a go at the real thing, Disco World in Maghull is a good place to start. Offering a wide range of equipment for sale or hire, Disco World caters for everyone, from amateur wannabes to those of you looking to play Cream or Pacha this time next year.
Disco World doesn't just cater for the professional (or wannabe professional) DJs though; they also do a large selection of equipment for the type of DJs who do private parties, karaoke nights or the local 'disco night' at the pub around the corner, with such classis effects as smoke, snow and bubble machines available from there.
Basically, Disco World is a worthwhile source for anyone involved in the DJ-ing business, whatever your standard. read more
