If you are debating going to District, don't, just go! I don't know why we do not frequent this place more, everything is so amazing! We started with our usual, street corn, which is definitely a large portion and the best I have ever had! We also tried two new to us items, the marrow bone and the pork bun! Both were great, the marrow bone would be better served with a crispier bread and the pork bun was also great but maybe a tad less aïoli.
I rarely branch out at any restaurant and per usual I ordered the Prime Teres Major, which is just phenomenal. The steak, the fries, the gravy and even the spinach is perfection. However, I did have a nibble of my husband's sweet tea fried chicken and I might just throw a curve ball on my next visit! The breading is light and crispy, the meat is that wonderful word, MOIST, and the sides... mmmmm.
AND DO NOT FORGET THE SOUFFLÉ!! Warm, yummy lemony goodness!
