Super easy to rent a kayak. They drop it in the water right off the dock and I headed under the bridge to the back bay. Went into a marshy area off the bay and saw a blue heron, geese, beautiful lily pads. They also helped me get out of the kayak when I came back. I wanted to tip and he refused.
