again another horrific shopping nightmare at dollar general. tvasos@dollargeneral.com sir we really need to talk! in december 2021 i was subjected to dollar general's rude and incompetent employees. they were rude to me because they messed up and it damaged me. oh and the 1st clerk before she checked me out was bent over on the check out as if she was sick. sorry caps are easier to type. she panicked me to the point i asked her 3 times do i need to call 911. oh it got worse! i was disrespected by 3 clerks and the manager. whom i asked to speak with and that was only on the phone. they had to call her twice over the problem. customers were yelling at me as they were today. i think these customers were brought in because the clerk and manager knew i was on the phone with corporate for the 2nd time. i had customers mad at me and yelling at me because your incompetent employees screwed up. i made corporate complaints in december and again the last few months.. because the problem is still not resolved as promised. once again a similar nightmare happened hours ago in the eager arizona store. it was a so bad i am still teared upset hours later. i love shopping and the last 4 times i shopped in dollar general it was needlessly stressful and damaging to me because of incompetent employees. i work for millionaires and have been management and sales since 1980. oh and i won a top sales award from phoenix realtors. i took pictures as proof after the clerk argued with me and she continued to get worse. then the manager was almost as bad. i started check out at 10:35am. i called corporate at 10:38am. the customer service woman heard how nasty she was to me. it took the manager 10-15 to get to the register. it took me arguing and being disrespected by your employee, customers then manager to get checked out at 11am. really look at the time i 1st called corporate as i was standing at the check out and being disrespected by the incompetent clerk. who said nothing could be done and at one point.. refused to give me the food i had paid for and cancel the other pay cash items. she also refused to give me a price on an item on clearance after she rang it up. again i had to argue and she told me $5. i said i didn't want it. she got mad! more drama. initially she price checked some string potatoes chips that were in clearance. they were expired in may. she said they are not clearance and it's not a clearance shelf, it's discontinued shelves she repeatedly argued with me. i went an took pictures and she still argued with me! hell..o look at my picture.. they are on the bottom shelf. the manager was rude too. she said it was me not the clerk and threatened to not take care of the problem 3 times. i told her corporate c.s. heard the clerk arguing with me and i asked if she heard it. then the dollar general corporate c.s. told me to hold. this was after she heard my story and the drama from the clerk. i was disconnected after she put me on hold. after a 20 call as i waited at check out. gee ya think a competent customer service would have called me back. she had my info and contact. plus i was under extreme duress and she heard it. oh there is so much more! i don't get paid to do mystery shopping for you. maybe you should! dollar general nightmare shopping last 3 times.. eager arizona corporate complaint made, buckeye arizona on jackrabbit corporate complaint made, tucson arizona by mission corporate complaint made and c.s. messed that up also, wittmann arizona corporate complaint made wittmann is where the december dollar general employees damaged me and my corporate complaint still not resolved! i am a business woman and this is crap is wrong and costing dollar general. why do i have to take my unpaid time to get your employees to do their jobs properly. including andrea supposed regional manager. she has not resolved these issues and was notified twice! 2 of a dozen issues where because the stores could not give me receipts, over charges, clerks and managers refused to resolve the issues. than blamed me and told me to leave. today i would have bought a big bag of expensive dog food and coffee creamer. but i forgot due to all the drama of listening to the clerk on the phone as she before, during and after checking out customers.. she was on the phone. as she worked she was one her phone calling her personal phone service, because her phone was turned off this morning. she said it was due on the 19th and didn't know why it was turned off. i think she knew and it was taken out auto payment 2 days before the 19th. hey but what do i know except i have been management and top sales since 1980. you really need to take actions! there is more it doesn't fit. read more
