Dollar Tree is low budget shoppers paradise with everything being just $1.00. It's a rather good sized store stocked with all sorts of things from shampoo, cards, wrapping paper, soaps, cleaners, cooking and kitchen items, some canned and refrigerated foods along with a sundry of other items. Yes, there are definitely good bargains to be had at Dollar Tree, but suggest that when you go you go with some idea of knowing what you are looking for, be willing to read labels carefully and be somewhat of any educated consumer. I've found the staff friendly, somewhat helpful but not all that knowledgeable about the goods they carry but I really wouldn't expect them to be. On the funny side, I got a real belly laugh when a young man stopped in and inquired of one of the more elderly employees about a "mouse." He kindly responded that he didn't think they carried any "mouse traps" or "mouse deterrents" but that he might try a nearby hardware store......of course you might know, the young man was looking for a computer mouse. read more
