Finally another Dollar Tree in the area!!! I was so happy to see the "opening soon" sign on this building within the last few weeks.... even more than I was when another Dollar Tree opened a few years ago in West Roxbury, which became somewhat inconvenient even though it hadn't anticipated to be. Plus, this place is a great location, right between both the CVS and Stop&Shop where I go on a weekly basis, and any other option to avoid the Norwood Dollar Tree (that is in dire need of a full on overhaul) is greatly, greatly appreciated from me, and I'm sure others feel the same. That store is just sad with empty shelves, and no sense of organization. Anyway, this store is located in the 1A Marketplace along Route 1A in Walpole in the former Gym that used to occupy this space. It's got plenty of parking and super easy access onto either direction of 1A. Super organized, clean and user friendly. May not be as large as some other Dollar Tree locations, but I was able to find everything I need (which is rare when I go to Dollar Tree as I find that every single location has some different products), and efficiently too. They also had an awesome area of frozen foods in the back that was better than any other grimy freezer area that I have seen in other stores of this type. Staff are super friendly, and even with their first day open, they already knew how to process coupons and exchanges. Surprisingly good training from a dollar store. Wow. Definitely the best new discount store in the area. No need for me to go to the Norwood Dollar Tree ever again. Thank the good lord. 5 stars. read more
