Dr. Dev's Spa has since changed location, but I had had an IPL laser treatment and was burned quite badly due to gross negligence. Prior to the administration of the laser, I was never informed of the risks of the procedure nor signed a consent form. A patch test was never done. The procedure was also done on the highest setting the first time it was administered. The procedure was administered by Shannon, an aesthetician, and not Dr. Sandhu. I'm the state of NJ, only physicians can administer laser therapy, so he was clearly breaking the law. He did not even oversee the procedure. I told Shannon that I was in extreme pain, but she ignored me and said that it was necessary to continue with additional passes of the laser were necessary to get results. The next morning, I woke up to facial burns all over my head. Dr. Sandhu ADMITTED that it was HIS fault. He never even offered to refund me for the procedure; I had to ask for my money back. He never provided treatment for my burns and was rude and nonchalant about my facial burns, telling me I'm making a big deal over nothing. He did offer me skin bleach, which was the wrong treatment, but never came through with providing me with the bleach. When I asked him when I could come pick it up, he told me "F*** y**" and hung up the phone on me. Rude, unprofessional, grossly negligent. He also the phone on patients. I had to pay out of pocket over $10,000 for the damage he caused to my face. I had to make dozens of visits to my dermatologist and plastic surgeon to have the damage fixed, and I still have a scar to this day, but much less noticeable. Dr. Sandhu also uses off-market Botox and filler that is not approved by the FDA that he has shipped over from Europe, so the safety of these products is questionable. The prices for procedures, fillers and Botox are also way overpriced compared to other places. For your safety of your face and wallet, please be stay away. Dr. Sandhu is unprofessional, grossly negligent, and doesn't take responsibility for his actions. He treats you more like an experiment, rather than a patient.
