A lovely Flemish bistro in the center of old town Ghent. We we're staying nearby and we were able to stop in on short notice for dinner on a festive Friday night. As this was our first night, we had to try the local classics-rich and hearty Flemish stew bathed in the rich succulent broth without out having a strong beer or mustard taste, and the Vol-au-vert-savory chicken in a creamy broth a bit like a pot pie-excellent! Of course it all came with a huge bowl of fries and some tiny salads. To start we enjoyed the house special roasted shrimp with a beautiful sauce. A couple of wines by the glass and we were full.
