Love Dumpling and Dips, my favorite dumpling spot where I have become a regular and stop by monthly, every time I am in the Saint Marks area for appointments.
From my first visit, when I stopped by and every time I've been here since, the women at the counter greet customers with big smiles, so welcoming and friendly. The owner Bella is also very friendly and recognized us as coming regularly, also so friendly.
Food we've ordered.
- Party platter with 10 assorted, delicious dumplings and several dipping sauces including a couple mild and a couple hot. I order this every time. The first time I ordered the platter curious to try the different kinds of dumplings, and now because it is so good, I order the platter every time here, taking it home to eat over the next couple days. (10 dumplings: Octopus, shrimp, chicken, pork, salmon, mushroom, pork and seaweed, chive).
- Fried octopus and chicken dumplings. Excellent, A different, tasty flavor unlike other dumplings I've had. Recommended by the owner the first time, I also order these every visit now and take them home. My son would not consider eating octopus dumplings prior, since he does not have an adventurous palate yet, but he enjoys these under the disguise of "mixed chicken" dumplings. Delicious.
- Fried chicken dumplings. Also great, my son's go to with white rice on the side.
- Kale noodles. So good!
- Crispy Kimchi fries with spicy mayo. The spicy Mayo is the perfect pairing and so good for dipping.
Atmosphere. Small, casual and comfortably cool. We usually get our dumplings to go, but there are a few tables inside and one outside.
Every visit I try and convince the owner Bella to open another store closer to where we live. We love it here.
