During our visit to Chicago, we had a great time trying a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown that specialized in dumplings. We found the place to be unique and delicious, and we even wrote a review about it. While driving around Windsor, we came across a restaurant called "Dumpling Time" and decided to give it a try since we hadn't been there before. We're curious if it compares to the one we experienced in Chicago.
Food:
We ordered several dishes including hot and sour soup, fried tofu, pork & cabbage dim sum, and shrimp dumplings.
The food was unique and enjoyable, although it didn't quite compare to the dumplings we had in Chicago.
Service:
The service was very attentive, with the owner, Katherine,
personally hosting and seating us.
She was constantly available to fulfill our needs, providing water, ice, and ensuring we had everything from the menu.
Ambiance:
The restaurant had an average and peaceful atmosphere.
It was well-organized and clean, creating a pleasant dining environment.
Cost:
The prices were in the low to mid-average range compared to other Chinese restaurants.
Considering the quality of the food, it was a steal and offered great value for money.
Wifi:
Free access with password provided
Restroom: Spacious and clean
Parking:
Parking was not a problem as there was a shared parking lot available on the premises.
Summary:
We enjoyed our dining experience at Dumpling Time.
Although the dumplings didn't surpass the ones we had in Chicago, they were still delicious.
The affordable prices made it an excellent choice,
especially since it was conveniently located near Devonshire mall.
We would definitely return to this restaurant for a satisfying dumpling fix without the need to travel long distances. read more
