First time trying this small restaurant since it changed hands. I have heard glowing reviews but frankly was not that impressed. After checking out the lunch buffet- which is really cafeteria style with the server dishing up your choices - played it safe with a Butcher Boy burger and fries. My companion got the "buffet" This day the buffet consisted of a very plain salad bar and fried chicken catfish nuggets polish sausage spicy cabbage mashed potatoes and gravy corn and green beans Burger was really flavorful despite being overly salted! Thin smashed Pattie's on a soft bun - really can't miss added cheese made it complete with pickles and onion slice. . My fries were some type of deep fried season fries and they were great!! Buffet-- the chicken was quite spicy but juicy and crispy. The catfish nuggets were a disappointment fried way to long so they were hard and dry. He opted for just corn and green beans which were excellent possibly fresh tricolor sweet corn and slow cooked country green beans. All said I might try Duo's again not really sure.
