As people enter the Miracle Hill site at Amar Road, Walnut, we'll notice the pastel color balloons floating in the air, the echoes of children laughing as they pet zoo animals, and the sound of live music being performed by the home band.
One of the organizers of the Eggstravaganza said that they had the help of hundreds of volunteers from City Blessing Church and were able to serve more than 2,000 guests who attended the Easter Eggstravaganza every year. It's a free admission event for the families.
As guests came, they were greeted at the welcome booth with information regarding the day's events, raffle tickets sale and companion buddies to show them around.
Children are divided to 3 different age groups to participate in the egg hunts. The first group to go is the 2-4 years, then the next one is the 5-8 years, and the last one is the 9-12 years old. If the weather permits there'll be 3 rounds of egghunts for all groups.
Other than the free egghunts, there'll be 15+ carnival game booths were ready to entertain them with more fun, a dunk tank that hosted the bravest men and women, face painting which turned kids into famous superheroes and animated characters. There was also a photo booth for everyone to take picture with the life-size bunny mascot.
At the main stage the children performers, dance and live band entertained the guests. Food and refreshments were also sold in the venue, it was provided by the volunteers that maintain the highest quality of the material and processing.
The cool thing about this event was The Mayor of Walnut and West Covina came to do the opening ceremony.
We surely enjoyed a family-filled fun day and were so blessed by the Easter Eggstravaganza. This community event is held every year, on Easter Saturday. The community can expect a very egg-citing Easter celebration for years to come. read more
