When we arrived at Debie's ranch she welcomed us and introduced us to each horse. All of her horses have a story on how they arrived to the ranch and they've all been with her for no less than six years. She took us on a beautiful trail ride through the towering trees of a state park and across a fern lined path that opened up to a meadow - right as the sky was changing colors. My horse, Spot, was energetic but gentle and while we rode Debie told us stories about her Ranch and the local wildlife. I was with my boyfriend who was paired with Pal and has only ridden a handful of times. He felt really comfortable, and Pal took great care of him. I was also out with a friend who was paired with Apache. Apache was a great fit for my friend. Very independent and a great personality! Also, Debie had this amazing little dog who rides along with her in a little side bag. So sweet! Thank you to Echo River Ranch for the wonderful experience!
