I have been dealing with non stop issue with the property since I moved in on Sept, 2017. I have asked for the furnace to be services in October 2017 and this past weekend 2/23- today I have had no heat. Took 10 hours, 10 HOURS for an emergency tech to come out and tell me that the furnace still has a 1997 sticker on it along with a rusty 7-UP pop can in it. This is not ok. In October 2017 there was a loud noise from the dryer. The tech came out and said this hasn't been cleaned. EVER. THEN it CAUGHT ON FIRE! Thank goodness there was a fire extinguisher in the cabinet. It could have been a bigger deal. There was lint and crap all over the inside. Talk about a fire hazard. I was assured by Christine that this Condo was service before I moved in. I am also in the property management profession and if I ever "turned" an apartment the way this was, I would be in serious trouble. I also have a cracked window in the 2nd bedroom. It took over a month for the "owner" to approve the replacement. Really it's under 40 degrees at night and it's been below 7 just a few weeks ago. This is not ok. I have requested a break in my lease and they want to charge me 1/2 months rent. You want to charge me for your delay in you providing a quiet and enjoyable home to live in. Ridiculous. I have sent an email to the property at 6:15 am on Saturday morning and left a message this morning at 8:15 when they are supposed to be open. It's now 9:20 am and I still have not heard from them. Do not rent from this company. Or if you do, make sure you have service records for the furnace and other appliances that could be putting your family in danger. I moved her with my 20 year old daughter hoping for a great experience. She is scared to be there by herself because of the above issues. Her room this morning, 2/26/2018 was under 50 degrees. Again, so no follow up from the company.
It's now Tuesday night and I have not heard from Echo Summit. read more
