For the tl;dr crowd:
I made the right choice. They gave me a very competitive quote, and they double-teamed my car to have it done in two hours, when I was expecting somewhere around four. It looks flawless, and they file the edge of the tint a bit to help it transition into the top edge of the glass to look as seamless as possible. Theres no un-tinted portion at the top edge of the glass like I've seen other people do. People often say "You can have it fast, good, and cheap; pick two." Well, this is one occasion you can have all three.
For the long-readers:
Allan was very patient with me despite being non-committal for a couple weeks while I got other quotes, and cancelled last minute due to the hurricane. I initially messaged him at like 11:00 at night hoping for a response in the morning, but he replied right away. (Whoops! Rude on my part!)
I was a little sketched out at first going to a business with no reviews that I couldn't find much of anything about. The quote was so much better than others I got, it made me a little nervous I was being set up, even, but also made it too tempting. Looking at their yelp photos, they seem to be from a bunch of different locations, so for a minute I was starting to feel like maybe the page was a farce, but eventually I found their instagram (eclipseautotintsllc) where theyre more active and that put my mind at ease a bit. They seem to just be sub-leasing other tint shops for a couple days a week while they get their business established.
I'm thrilled to help a new business get established, and I'm writing this review to let you, the reader, know that you don't have to feel nervous or second guess yourself like I did. They do great work. read more
