What a delightful experience, and what a great place to have it at! A friend suggested that I give a float tank a try, and am so glad I did. Not too far away from where I live, and very reasonably priced. Easy to find once I got to Claremont, and felt immediately welcomed upon walking in! As I had never been in one previously, I certainly benefited from the gentle instructions. And once in the tank it took me a couple minutes to adjust to the degree of peace and relaxation I was being offered, figuring out the sound and the lights, etc. At which point I opted for total darkness and no music. Just listening to my own heartbeat. It was wonderful and I truly recommend it! Heads up--the little bottle of spray water in the tank comes in handy! And I appreciated that they let me leave my car in their parking lot while I walked around and enjoyed downtown Claremont. Five stars, easily. read more
