Frequented this neighborhood cafe for several months. Best of everything. Close to the train station, close to the river, good food, good bartenders, and good atmosphere to where you're not overwhelmed by smoke, boisterous people and loud music. Then they removed the pool table... As explained to me by my favorite bartender, the owner wanted to avail more seats to patrons and expand the menu. Still in shock. The menu is good alright. The assortment of coffees from around the world and the seasonal rotating menu is enough to keep even the more discerning customers' interest. However El Python was the only cafe/bar on the safe side of town with a pool table. Pout. read more
