The food is always great, and the staff is always very pleasant and efficient (like you're going in starving, and you're coming out fat and happy, ready for a siesta in 30 minutes). The helpings of food and beverage are always huge. They make their own chips, and I LOVE their chips and whatever their queso blanco sauce is. It isn't a cheese, more of a tangy crema.
I give it 4 stars for two things - first, it always has this very strong odor of cleaning agent. Like pine sol or something. I appreciate that they keep the space clean, but it's honestly a really overwhelming perfume smell when you're wanting it to smell like food. The second thing that I don't love is that their tabletop sauces look unmonitored. We use some of the same hot sauces and such at home, and they're supposed to be refrigerated once opened and I'm guessing they don't refrigerate and replace them regularly because they are off color.
Still overall recommend for generous portions of Mexican fare for a good price. read more
