I came for a day trip to Cadaques, a beautiful coastal city where Salvador Dali spent most of his adult life, and what kind of visit would've this been if I didn't go to the same restaurant Dali use to go to. The name of the place is El Pescador, and it's a cute restaurant with a waterfront location and a beautiful view. We stopped by for dinner and although the restaurant was full the owner noticed us looking at the place and told us he will have a table for two available in less than five minutes, and yes he kept his word. He seated us on the outside porch with a view of the sea. - For appetizer we ordered a pitcher of their delicious red sangria and some fried fish and their delicious local olives and warm fresh bread. - For main dish we had two servings of sauteed Orata fish with cherry tomatoes and potatoes, and a serving of sauteed octopuses....mmmmm.... delicious. Probably one of the best octopus I've ever tried. - For desert we just got two Espressos. Everything we ordered was fresh, well prepared and absolutely tasty. Combined with an excellent service this place really deserves more than five stars. If you are ever in Cadaques, make sure you check out this place. You wont be disappointed. read more
