So, listen here y'all -- I love me some El Sid. It's my Cheers in a world where we seriously need a place where everybody knows your name (well, they know MY name). The service is amazing -- so friendly and accommodating. Aislinn is the bartender and she always has the shakers shaking and the ultimate libations. Try the Holiday In Cambodia for an extra yummy drink (I take mine as a chaste libation) and I'm tellin' ya, you won't even miss the liquor -- at least not very much. I order their fries, which are amazing because they are Truffle-ized, but tonight I decided to try something a little different, so I ordered the Osaka Jo-Jos -- let me tell you, they are amaze-balls with the perfect amount of spice which makes magical umami (I just wanted an excuse to use that word). Served tender crispy with a flavor that will take you places. All this in a Speak Easy atmosphere that is seriously vibing!!
All in all, El Sid is a favorite for live music (Monday is Blues Night, my favorite!) There are a variety of nights -- even Karaoke. Y'all need to make your way to El Sid and pet the Velvet Wall as you walk in on do it before you leave!! read more
