Definitely would not recommend Andrew. In December 2020, I was given his name from my designer who needed a structural report before designing my 1940-built kitchen (she had not used him before but she got his name from someone else). Andrew charged me $350 to come to the house, where he showed up without a ladder, a tape measure, or a flashlight (I had to provide those). He peeked into my attic, didn't bother to look in the basement or crawl space, then left after 5 minutes. He didn't send me a structural report, but instead sent a proposal for his construction company to remove TWO supporting walls. When I asked him for a structural report, he said he couldn't give me one without opening up the walls. So... a waste of $350. Note: I paid another engineer to provide a structural report. After a FULL inspection that included getting in the attic and the crawl space, it was determined only ONE wall was structural. Also, my designer gave Andrew's name to another client and he did the same thing to that client. Needless to say, the designer (again, she had not worked with him previously) will not give his name to any other clients. read more
