I'm not sure I'd ever been in here even though it's one of the shops that's been in De Courcey's for ages. It's quite a large shop which is literally brimming with amazing gifts, treats and lovely stuff.
Sometimes shops like this can be a little hit or miss but there was lots of stuff that I'd describe as pretty "trendy" right now - bronze/brass candle jars and vases, pineapple stuff as well as some amazing chunky necklaces. They also had a jewellery range of porcelain animals which I'm still not sure whether they're amazing or terrifying. With some homewars, kids stuff and accessories like bags, if you were looking for a gift you'd probably be able to find something ideal in here. I ended up getting a wee black trinket tray with a brass pineapple in the middle for £7.50. The girl working was friendly and chatty, and I was able to pay of card.
This is a great wee shop and worth that little detour off Byres Road. read more
