After staying in Rio de Janeiro for over a week, I was beginning to think there isn't any 'fine dining' in town. However, my friend pointed me to this quaint restaurant near the lagoon. The interior is well appointed, the staff was dressed and professional. We ordered the tasting menu along with the wine tasting, why not go all out?
We started with some tasty amuses, then a oyster topped with caviar, stunning foie gras garnish with a golf leaf, fish of the day and filet mignon.
The best of all was the dessert! There was a pre dessert bonsai tree with edible orange candies!! Can't recommend this place enough! If you haven't tried this place in Rio de Janeiro, then you're really missing out! read more
