Ely's Old-Fashioned Candy store, will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. It's a small boutique shop filled with classic candies and sodas. For your entertainment, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory is playing on a monitor. As I browsed through the store, it was a trip down memory lane. I was blown away by the selection of Pez dispensers and candies. They had a variety of classic, candy cigarettes, that were quit the buzz and cool thing when I was a child. I was shocked to see a true favorite from my childhood, Bonomo Taffy. If I didn't have crowns and caps, I would have treated myself to one. They were my treat after church when we'd go to the drug store to pick-up the Sunday paper. They had a expanded offering of Hershey chocolate bars, but they did not have any Kit Kat bars. Not having the expanded varieties of my favorite candy bar (Kit Kat) is why they only got a 3 Star rating. read more
