Emerson was parked right outside the Heard Museum for the Indigenous celebration so we decided to try them out. The menu offers a variety of sweet and savory fry bread. We got a cinnamon sugar frybread and a mutton sandwich. Both didn't take too long to make and both looked delectable. We settled down on one of the tables on the museum patio and dug in!
The mutton sandwich was packed with thinly sliced, grilled meat and very fresh veggies. I loved the combo of meat and veg with the frybread and it was easy to eat by folding it up like a soft taco. I liked the taste of the mutton (No gamey taste whatsoever) but it was a bit chewy. The cinnamon sugar frybread was a winner for my daughter who gave it a thumbs up.
Service was friendly and welcoming. I'd try more from Emerson. read more
