ENERGY TECH FOAM INSULATION, LLP FROM SANGER, TEXAS!! I called for a bid, left message on voice mail, got a call back in less than 30 minutes and quote was given over the phone right then! The crew showed up first thing the very next morning at 7am! Energy Tech of Sanger beat everyone else's quote. I asked for a minimum of six inches of "Open-Cell" foam on my new construction, 2400 sq. ft. METAL-sided AND roofed house. Closest competitor, looked at house and bid more than $1,000 over Energy Tech's quote and, when I told him about Energy Tech's bid, he FREELY admitted that they were a great company and do really good work. That is an understatement! These guys worked 12.5 hours straight, without taking a lunch, in terrible heat and humidity (93 degrees in house with 63% humidity!) and (even with sprayer issues) did an amazing job!! Most of the foam is actually OVER 7" (the walls are 7.5" deep)!! I am not one to normally leave reviews (this is my 2nd one ever!), but these guys deserve it! Can't speak highly enough! Oh!! Want to know if this stuff insulates as well as they claim? Well, here's your PROOF!! I have a 3,000 sq. ft. foot metal shop, IDENTICAL construction (same contractor built both buildings at the same time), that was WELL over 100 degrees and 60% humidity yesterday (June 20, 2019). The HOUSE, on the other hand, was 75 degrees with ONE (small!) 150 square foot AC unit!! I'm in Northeast Texas, folks! It gets HOT AND HUMID here, and this danged insulation did an amazingly, incredible job of keeping the house comfortable! My whole house never got over 75 degrees, even though the heat index was 107 degrees!! And the house has NO shade at all as it sits in the middle of a wide open pasture, while the shop has BIG trees to shade the ENTIRE WEST side! If that doesn't speak VOLUMES for this type of insulation, I don't know what could! Needless to say, I will be coming up with the money to do my shop as soon as the weather cools down (those guys would have heat stroke trying to do that shop during the summer)!
