We stayed in the Dreamcatcher Cottage which was recently renovated. First of all, be prepared to drive straight uphill on tiny, unmarked roads to find this place and if you park in their back lot, you will have 70 plus steps up to the cottage. Nothing in this town is on level ground...the cottage is well decorated and cozy, to a point. Don't plan on spending any time lounging around, because the furniture in the sitting area is small and not comfortable. The "water closet" is just that, a tiny closet with a toilet. If you are tall, bigger people like my husband and I, you won't be able to close the door. Hope you're not claustrophobic. The shower is great, but you can't get more than one person in the bathroom at the same time. The beds are very comfortable and I did sleep very well, but I was exhausted. There is a very uneven porch/balcony and off to the side an added gravel outdoor area with a grill. The bonus was we were able to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks display from our porch. Things I would suggest to the owners...supply an extra roll of paper towels and some kitchen towels. The coffee pot is not a Kuerig! It does take pods, but you can make a whole pot as well so some filters would be helpful. I would have brought ground coffee instead of going through 10 pods in 2 days. read more
