Grass is greener where you water it--apparently true here in Rock Springs. Grateful for places like this that conveys a Chef's willingness to flex for the palette anywhere. We've brunched and dined a few times for special occasions known as "live your best life" because the journey can be full of twists and turns. The first time we brunched here during winter I was impressed to see one of my fave shakshuka on the menu while the beau had his fave fried chicken. Space itself is modern, bright and airy for panoramic golf course and pond views with live music enjoyment on occasion. We've been back recently in the spring for dinner and brunch luckily on the patio on brighter days. Kitchen has usually been generous with carb portions which the beau loves fanatically. Liz has been our indoor/outdoor server and we'll be happy to be seated with her again any time.
BRUNCH EXPERIENCE
* Shakshuka - cozily baked, spiced just right, ordered 2x
* Fried chicken & French toast - savory and sweet
* Avocado toast w/smoked salmon - this is our DIY specialty at home and we rarely order it out but was delighted for the smashing, heaping presentation
* Poutine - could be served warmer
DINNER EXPERIENCE
* Bread - bonus for serving with herbs in olive oil
* Trout - will gladly order crispy whole fish if it's on the menu
* Lamb 2 ways - double the pleasure for one of our fave meats
Looking forward to getting the pork chops next time and a $5 bucket of golf balls to round out the afternoon. On par for great date days-nights! read more
