I spent a week at the Evolution Hotel in Lisbon and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived the staff was super friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The place is super modern and trendy and you will think you have traveled into the future. I had issues with opening my door, but one of the members of the staff showed me a better way to get it to open than the way I was doing. I requested an upper-story room and was two floors down from the top of the building. At the top of the building, there is a swimming pool (although heated it was still too cold for my taste), a dry sauna, wet sauna, fitness center, and I am sure I missed something, but just absolutely great amenities. The food was excellent as well. I actually ate most of my meals at the hotel. It was buffet style with several choices, the bar and kitchen staff were super friendly, and I really miss the place now that I am writing this review. I am going to have to go back for sure. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the design of the toilet rooms, which are very modern, but you best feel comfortable with whomever you are sharing a room with b/c they are pretty much see through. Fortunately, for me I was alone so this wasn't an issue, but I can see how it would be a problem if anyone was with me. However, there was a curtain you could pull to divided the area from the bed area, and the view with all of the super modern amenities. This has to be the best place to stay in Lisbon, and it was very affordable! read more
