This is as good as a 2 star hotel gets: VERY BASIC, very clean and new. Located at the south end of a very walk-able main street in this town. The bathroom floor, fixtures, the bed, the carpet: everything seemed new. Bed and carpet were clean. HVAC worked. We were in town for a spring rafting trip at Wildman on the Peshtigo. Afterward we came and pub-crawled the pizza, the bar, the other bar, and finally the bowling alley along main street, finally walking to our lodgings at Exxon. Be prepared to be blown away by the water pressure in the shower. This was exactly like staying in a R-- R--- Inn (can I say names?) but with newer stuff. A great value. read more
