My best friend and I came here to get matching anklets as a fun activity. I chose silver and she chose gold, and we each purchased a charm. Our total came to about $100 each plus tip. Unfortunately, the experience and quality didn't live up to the "permanent jewelry" promise. When my anklet was first applied, it took several attempts for the jump ring to close properly, and the staff mentioned they were having issues with the new silver jump rings. About a week later, my anklet broke jump ring weld and fell off without any reason. Thankfully I noticed before losing it, but when I went back to get it fixed, the process was difficult again. I also didn't appreciate being told it might be due to my "pH levels," as that felt dismissive of the actual workmanship issue. Not long after, my friend's gold anklet broke as well. She had it repaired at the shop, then it broke AGAIN after being repaired. At this point she resorted to superglue because the back-and-forth was too frustrating. Sadly, it broke yet again, a third time, and at the weld where it was just repaired. In discussion with a friend who does permanent jewelry as her job, she noted this was not normal nor typical of a well-done permanent jewelry piece. Additionally, while the staff was polite the environment felt a bit cold and unwelcomingduring at time that was supposed to be fun and engaging. For something advertised as lasting years, our pieces barely lasted weeks. This was my first time getting permanent jewelry, and it will likely be my last. I really wanted to love the experience, but the quality and durability just weren't there, especially compared to my friend's other permanent jewelry from a different business that has had no issues.
