Fieldale Cafe has been an anchor in uptown Fieldale over 20 years. Lunch time is usually very busy and everything on the menu (including breakfast is available all day. Most people are getting short orders but everything I have ever gotten myself including fried chicken and steaks have been spot on. This place is a favorite with locals but during races at Martinsville Speedway, I have seen lines of folks waiting to get in. Kayaking and trout fishing on the Smith River is very close by so I see a lot coming in after being on the River several hours. read more
