Outstanding fish restaurant next door to a fish market. Small place, 8 tables plus 5 seats at the window. We shared a bowl of fish chowder plus the day's special, grilled megrim sole with ratatouille, parsley gnocchi and buttered leeks, then followed with apple sponge cake with whipped cream, ice cream, berries and creme anglaise. The whole meal was really wonderful, fresh and delicious, a symphony of flavors! The gnocchi isn't Italian gnocchi but is log-shaped pieces of a potato parsley mixture cooked until brown, delicious but definitely not the gnocchi I learned to make a few weeks ago in Italy. I would definitely come back! read more
