We wanted seafood and decided to choose Finz as our destination. Very glad we did.
We started with the dumplings which were served in a chili sauce. Great appetizer to rev up your palate. Not too filling but loaded with flavor.
Next I chose the fish of the day which was snapper. Seared to give it a nice crisp, the fish had a light flakey texture. The potatoes and greens gave it a nice mixture of textures and flavors to complete the meal. Husband had the sole which was served as nearly a whole fish. Very good as well. His meal didn't come with sides so we orders the veggie side which had yams, parsnips, and broccoli. All delicious.
We opted for dessert and chose the dark chocolate mousse with raspberry. These flavors were absolutely meant to go together. So good.
Service was excellent. We had a reservation, got there early, and hung at the bar until our table was ready. Loved the views of the lake from our table. Some folks were eating outside with heaters but we were glad to have an indoor table on a chilly night. read more
