This place is horrible!! Due to the corona virus, we were expecting all the non essential businesses to close down, so I knew I needed to get my refill done that day, as it might be my last chance for a while. I always make my nail appointments in advance at my regular nail salon, because the guy I use is very popular due to his beautiful work and he's always booked. So I'm thinking a same day appointment the day before a shut down will be impossible. I decided to try Le 1 Nails formally known as First Class Nails because it was right by my house and they never seemed to be busy. Sure enough I call and they say I can come right now. I'm like ok how bad can it be, it's not my usual guy but I'll just get a single color simple nail refill, not hard right?! I was also going to get a pedicure. The pedicure was ok nothing to rave about but it was the refill and nails that I was absolutely horrified to see that she has basically butchered my beautiful nails! The shape was all wrong and all the nails were not even the same shape as the others!! The powder was lumpy and bumpy! Well I sat and kept thinking ok she's going to fix this right??? She's nowhere near done and then she asks me if I like it, like she's done and ready for topcoat or something, I look and I'm like no I don't like, this is awful This is horrible they aren't even the same shape all the nails look different! I had tears in my eyes and was trying to hold back crying in front of them. I'm like no this is the worst I've ever seen I'm going to have leave here right now and go get these fixed right now at another salon before they shut them all down, i do not want you to finish and continue. I said here let me just pay what I owe so far (um she didn't finish my nails and I was leaving because I had to get them fixed) so I assumed it would just be for the pedicure, well my mistake for assuming!! I handed him my credit card and he came back with my receipt to sign. I looked at the receipt and it was for $63. I said omg why is this $63?? among some other choice words, he says for your nails and pedicure. I said I'm leaving in the middle of my nails because it is so bad and now I'm crying because it's just so awful looking! Vicky I guess is her name tells me well I pay for nails because she worked on them for an hour!! Well maybe you did but it looks like a 4 year old did them!! Who expects to pay for that and a service that was so bad you got up in the middle of and said stop!! I was so angry! I just wanted to leave and hurry and go to another salon to get them fixed as it was late already and it was known the shut down was coming the next day. So I threw his receipt at him and left! I called my husband and he up there to get my money back for the nails. Of course they argued with him but did refund the money for the nail portion at the end. The guy running the place would not Refund to me because he thinks he can get away with this crap with women but low and behold a man comes up there he changes his tune! Ok and one more little tidbit, the guy running the place was at the salon coughing all over the place, he didn't even bother to cover up his mouth while doing so and we all know how important it is right now to cover when you cough and sneeze well I guess this guy didn't get the memo! I even watched him taking cough syrup! Gross! So now I'm out money because I had to pay extra to get the nails removed and then a brand new set instead of the refill price which is all I had really needed in the first place! And on top of that now I have to worry about my health because i was in the room With him as he was coughing and expelling droplets everywhere! Do not go here if you like nice nails! He should've refunded the pedicure money as well in my opinion, when a customer leaves crying because your work is so horrible you shouldn't charge them for even one thing after what you did to them! read more
