I love this place! My mother and I first discovered Five Below in Philadelphia. I bought bath bombs and a body brush. The concept is simple: most, but not all, items are $5 or less. There's an awesome range of stuff, from candy to electronics. We went in because I wanted more bath bombs. We wandered all around the store, and ended up with Christmas ornaments (Darth Vader and Baby Yoda), bath bombs, some stocking stuffers, Zatarain's chips, a giant bag of Hot Tamales (oops. I love them), and some other items.
The store is large, bright, and clean. It's self-checkout, and you can bring a bag or buy a reusable tote. I think they're $.25 each. The associate who was working was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. There were manned checkouts in Philly, but tbh I don't remember if this store is entirely self-checkout.
There's also sports equipment, athletic clothing (very small selection): thermoses, kettle bells, and barbells, as well as some yoga and Pilates stuff. Lots of phone cases and accessories. Perfect place to shop for stocking stuffers or presents. The food section is mostly snacks, but there's a decent selection of chocolate in the candy section. read more
