Full disclosure: I worked in the kitchen team for a week. FOLD is a pretty novel concept in the middle of Brick Lane: authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a light, friendly and cozy environment. I really like the design of the place, it can cope with pretty much everything from the romantic dinner date to the casual lunch between friends, or even the freelancer who just needs a good place to work. The food is great, and will be a fantastic intro to Vietnamese cuisine if you've never tried it. I did not know Vietnamese cuisine at all so this was a fantastic culinary adventure for me. Fresh spring rolls, fried rolls, flavourful herbs, hot soups... You've got everything one can want. Give a try to the vegan fried rolls in particular, I promise you will love them. Coming from such a big meat lover, trust me, it's worth it! Special line for the coffee. Ladies and Gentlemen, you absolutely have to taste it. It was a big surprise for me...
