I booked a pottery for two class for my sister and I on a Friday from 11-1 with Monica and we had so much fun! This studio is located in the back of the Asch Building. I've been taking pottery lessons for around a year now and it was my sister's first time. You get to choose between a lighter and a darker clay. Monica did a demo, helped us make our first piece, and then let us loose to practice on our own. My sister's pieces turned out great! At the end of class, we got to choose 4 pieces (2 per person) and glazes to color our pieces with. Our pieces should be ready in 4-5 weeks after they trim and fire them and I'm excited to see how they turn out! read more
