New restaurant alert! My wife told me about this place yesterday, and I originally thought we'd check it out over the weekend. But sometimes, the Indian in me starts craving 'snacky' street food at the oddest hours - so there we were at 2:30 PM, even though we'd already had lunch just a couple of hours earlier. LOL.
We ordered the Chili Chicken Frankie and the Schezwan Noodles - both were excellent. If you've had the Indo-Chinese dishes at Surmai, the flavors here will feel instantly familiar. The noodles were soft, hot, and packed with tangy goodness. The Frankie was also great. If I put on my 'snob' hat, it doesn't quite replicate the Mumbai Frankies I grew up on (think Tibb's Frankie), but as a chicken wrap/roll, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The roti is made in-house - soft, flavorful, and served with some tasty in-house dips.
Shoutout to Stany for the excellent service! They've only been open for two days, so there wasn't anyone else inside but I am sure that'll change in a few weeks. I was certainly impressed and will be back. Highly recommend! read more
