Flight departure was delayed by one hour when we took French Bee from Newark, NJ to Orly, France. On the way back it was on time.
The things I liked: I felt safe, captains were communicative with updates, really polite and friendly flight crew who are all fluent in multiple languages, very clean interior of plane, food was great, screens at every seat with wifi/games/movies/music.
Check in/boarding/getting off/baggage claim all organized and went smoothly at Newark but chaotic at Orly. I can't tell if that was attributable to the airline or the airport.
The things I disliked were that the cabin was uncomfortably warm for most of the flight, there was no overhead air vent that I could control, and the seats were so close together that my side body, arms and legs were pressed up against the passengers on either side of me.
For a budget airline, it really wasn't that much less expensive than other airlines. At first it seemed cheaper because the actual airfare was low, but then we got about $600 added on in carry-on bag fees, checked bag fees, select which seat fees, food, beverages, wifi, and random charges that I didn't even understand what the fees were for.
Furthermore, at Orly we had to check in our own baggage and there weren't enough attendants and a bunch of the computers were down.
Unsure if I would fly French Bee again.
