My wife and I were in Springfield for a college baseball tournament. As fans of Mexican non chain restaurants we headed to Frontera Grill.
We sat at the bar as we typically do.
They greeted us with a healthy portion of chips and salsa.
The salsa was excellent.
Sweet tomato base not too spicy.
On to the drinks
We had the Patron margarita
A typical red flag for me is when I see a pre made, jug, keg or whatever when it comes to a drink.
Surprisingly these were great.
Flavorful and strong which is unusual for a pre made cocktail.
For dinner we had the chicken, steak and
Shrimp fajita with rice and beans
Very good,
However the shrimp tails were not removed which is problematic for a fajita, in my opinion
All in all a solid enjoyable meal
